Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal of drosophila ATG5 conjugated to blue carrier protein has been used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
APG5-like, ASP, APG5, APG5L, hAPG5, apoptosis-specific protein
Target
ATG5 is an important element for autophagy and may also play an important role in the apoptotic process. Following conjugation to ATG12, the conjugate participates in the formation of autophagosome. While the mRNA is ubiquitously transcribed its expression is highly upregulated in apoptotic cells.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
