Immunogen
Synthetic peptides from EGFP/GFP/Venus protein was used as the antigen.

Accession

Also known
Enhanced Green Fluorescence Protein

Target
GFP is anaturally fluorescent protein, discovered by chance in the 1960s by Shimomura et al.
BIOPHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES: Excitation max (nm): 488; Emission max (nm): 509; Extinction coefficient (Cm-1M-1): 61000. Fluorescent proteins have become a useful and ubiquitous tool for making chimeric proteins, where they function as a fluorescent protein tag. Typically they tolerate N- and C-terminal fusion to a broad variety of proteins.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution

Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
