Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from mouse TRPC2 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
The location of the epitope is highlighted in
green.
Accession
Also known
Short transient receptor potential channel 2, mTrp2, Trp2, Trrp2, Trpc2, transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily C, member 2, trp2, Trrp2, mTrp2, TRPC2a, TRPC2b, smTRPC2
Target
FUNCTION: Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. May also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein (Probable).
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
