Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from human Clavesin-1 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse.
Accession
Also known
Clavesin-1, Clavesin1, Clavesin 1, CLVS1, Cellular retinaldehyde-binding protein-like, Retinaldehyde-binding protein 1-like 1
Target
FUNCTION: Required for normal morphology of late endosomes and/or lysosomes in neurons (By similarity). Binds phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(3,5)P2).
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Golgi apparatus ⺠trans-Golgi network membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. Cytoplasmic vesicle ⺠clathrin-coated vesicle. Early endosome membrane; Peripheral membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Expressed mainly in the brain.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
