Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 360-410 of human BACH2 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Transcription regulator protein BACH2, BTB and CNC homolog 2
Target
Function: Transcriptional regulator that acts as repressor or activator. Binds to Maf recognition elements (MARE). Play important roles in coordinating transcription activation and repression by MAFK
. Induces apoptosis in response to oxidative stress through repression of the antiapoptotic factor HMOX1.
Subcellular location: Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Note: Nucleocytoplasmic shuttling is controlled by phosphorylation.
Tissue specificity: B-cell specific.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
