Target

Function: Transcriptional regulator that acts as repressor or activator. Binds to Maf recognition elements (MARE). Play important roles in coordinating transcription activation and repression by MAFK. Induces apoptosis in response to oxidative stress through repression of the antiapoptotic factor HMOX1.
Subcellular location: Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Note: Nucleocytoplasmic shuttling is controlled by phosphorylation.
Tissue specificity: B-cell specific.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
