Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 490-540 of human LRRC4B conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen shares 94% identity with rat and mouse sequences.
Accession
Also known
Leucine rich repeat containing protein 4B, Netrin G3 ligand, NGL-3, LRIG4
Target
Function: Synaptic adhesion protein. Regulates the formation of excitatory synapses. The trans-synaptic adhesion between LRRC4B and PTPRF regulates the formation of excitatory synapses in a bidirectional manner.
Subcellular location: Membrane; Single-pass membrane protein. Cell junction ⺠synapse ⺠presynaptic cell membrane
Tissue specificity: Mainly expressed in the brain. Widespread distribution in various brain regions. Detected both embryonically and postnatally with stronger expression in postnatal stages.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
