Tissue specificity: Expressed in brain and spinal cord with no expression detected in heart, kidney or liver. Expressed by neurons but not by astrocytes. In the brain, detected in the cerebrum, cerebellum and olfactory bulbs. In the cerebral cortex, highly expressed in Cajal-Retzius cells. Also expressed in hippocampal neurons and in Purkinje and granule cells of the cerebellum (at protein level).

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
