Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 270-370 of mouse GDF6 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Growth/differentiation factor 6, GDF-6, Growth/differentiation factor 16, GDF16
Target
Function: Required for normal formation of bones and joints in the limbs, skull, and axial skeleton. Plays a key role in establishing boundaries between skeletal elements during development.
Subcellular location: Secreted
Tissue specificity: Expressed in different subsets of developing joints.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
