Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 100-150 of Influenza A virus Polymerase basic protein 2 (PB2) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
RNA directed RNA polymerase subunit P3, Polymerase basic protein 2
Target
Function: Involved in transcription initiation and cap-stealing mechanism, in which cellular capped pre-mRNA are used to generate primers for viral transcription. Binds the cap of the target pre-RNA which is subsequently cleaved by PB1. May play a role in genome replication.
Subcellular location: Virion. Host nucleus. Host mitochondrion
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
