Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 50-100 of human FEZ1 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Fasciculation and elongation protein zeta-1, Zygin I, Zygin-1
Target
Function: May be involved in axonal outgrowth as component of the network of molecules that regulate cellular morphology and axon guidance machinery. May participate in the transport of mitochondria and other cargos along microtubules.
Subcellular location: Cytoplasm ⺠cytoskeleton ⺠microtubule organizing center ⺠centrosome. Cell membrane. Note: Co-localizes with both, alpha- and gamma-tubulin. Translocated from the plasma membrane to the cytoplasm by activation of the PKC zeta.
Tissue specificity: Mainly expressed in brain.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
