Target

FUNCTION: Mediates a firm binding of versican V2 to hyaluronic acid. May play a pivotal role in the formation of the hyaluronan-associated matrix in the central nervous system (CNS) which facilitates neuronal conduction and general structural stabilization. Binds to hyaluronic acid.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Secreted . extracellular space . extracellular matrix
Tissue specificity: Expressed only in adult brain.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
