Function: May play a role in the dynein-dynactin interactions on the surface of membranous organelles, by associating with these complexes. Regulates coat complex coatomer protein I (COPI)-independent Golgi-endoplasmic reticulum transport by recruiting the dynein-dynactin motor complex.
Subcellular location: Golgi apparatus. Cytoplasm ⺠cytoskeleton. Note: In interphase cells mainly localizes to the Golgi complex and colocalizes with dynactin at microtubule plus ends By similarity. Its localization is dependent on microtubule morphology.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
