FUNCTION: Likely to be a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis in brain and may play a significant role as a mediator of the p53 signal in suppression of glioblastoma. May function in cell adhesion and signal transduction in the brain.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Note: Likely to be concentrated at cell-cell adhesion sites.
Tissue specificity: Specifically expressed in brain.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
