Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 600-700 of human ABCC9 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
ATP-binding cassette sub-family C member 9, Sulfonylurea receptor 2, SUR2
Target
FUNCTION: Subunit of ATP-sensitive potassium channels (KATP). Can form cardiac and smooth muscle-type KATP channels with KCNJ11. KCNJ11 forms the channel pore while ABCC9 is required for activation and regulation.
Defects in ABCC9 are the cause of cardiomyopathy dilated type 1O (CMD1O).
Defects in ABCC9 are the cause of familial atrial fibrillation type 12 (ATFB12).
Defects in ABCC9 are the cause of hypertrichotic osteochondrodysplasia (HTOCD).
Subcellular location: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
