Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 150-230 of human SLC13A5 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.

Accession

Also known
Solute carrier family 13 member 5, Na(+)/citrate cotransporter, NaCT, Sodium-coupled citrate transporter, NACT

Target
FUNCTION: High-affinity sodium/citrate cotransporter that mediates citrate entry into cells. The transport process is electrogenic; it is the trivalent form of citrate rather than the divalent form that is recognized as a substrate. May facilitate the utilization of circulating citrate for the generation of metabolic energy and for the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Expressed most predominantly in the liver, with moderate expression detectable in the brain and testis.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution

Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
