Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 400-500 of mouse Dopamine beta-hydroxylase (DBH) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
DOPO, Dopamine beta-hydroxylase, Dopamine beta monooxygenase, Soluble dopamine beta hydroxylase
Target
FUNCTION: Conversion of dopamine to noradrenaline.
Subcellular location: Soluble dopamine beta-hydroxylase: Cytoplasmic vesicle ⺠secretory vesicle lumen. Cytoplasmic vesicle ⺠secretory vesicle ⺠chromaffin granule lumen. Cytoplasmic vesicle ⺠secretory vesicle membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein. Cytoplasmic vesicle ⺠secretory vesicle ⺠chromaffin granule membrane
Tissue specificity: Chromaffin granules of the adrenal medulla and synaptic vesicles of the sympathetic nervous system.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
