Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from c-terminal region of human KCNH4 (Kv12.3) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 4, Brain-specific eag-like channel 2, BEC2, Ether-a-go-go-like potassium channel 1, ELK channel 1, ELK1, Voltage-gated potassium channel subunit Kv12.3, Elk3
Target
Function: Pore-forming (alpha) subunit of voltage-gated potassium channel. Elicits an outward current, but shows no inactivation. Channel properties may be modulated by cAMP and subunit assembly.
Subcellular location: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Detected only in brain, in particular in the telencephalon. Detected in putamen and caudate nucleus, and at lower levels in cerebral cortex, occipital and hippocampus.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
