Target
FUNCTION: May play an important role in development and maintenance of anterior structures. Isoform Ptx2c is involved in left-right asymmetry in the developing embryo.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nucleus
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: In day-11 embryos, expressed in the periocular mesenchyme, maxillary and mandibular epithelia, umbilicus, Rathke pouch, vitelline vessels and limb mesenchyme. In adult tissues, expressed in pituitary gland, brain, kidney, eye, lung, testis and tongue.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
