Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from n-terminal region of human KCNA10 (Kv1.8) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A member 10, Voltage-gated potassium channel subunit Kv1.8
Target
Function: Mediates voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a potassium-selective channel through which potassium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. The channel activity is up-regulated by cAMP.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Detected in kidney, in proximal tubules, glomerular endothelium, in vascular endothelium and in smooth muscle cells.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
