Target
FUNCTION: Plays a major role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space, through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity. Acts as a co-receptor for HCV entry into hepatic cells.

Tissue specificity: Strongly expressed in liver and kidney. Expressed in heart, brain, spleen, lung and testis.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
