Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from c-terminal region of mouse Stathmin 1 (Metablastin, Prosolin) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Stathmin, Leukemia-associated gene protein, Leukemia-associated phosphoprotein p18, Metablastin, Oncoprotein 18, Op18, Phosphoprotein p19, pp19, Prosolin, Protein Pr22, pp17
Target
Function: Involved in the regulation of the microtubule (MT) filament system by destabilizing microtubules. Prevents assembly and promotes disassembly of microtubules. Phosphorylation at Ser-16 may be required for axon formation during neurogenesis
. Involved in the control of the learned and innate fear.
Subcellular location: Cytoplasm
Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in the lateral nucleus of the amygdala.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
