Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from 1t extracellular domain of human Latrophilin-1 (LPHN1) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
LPHN1, Calcium-independent alpha-latrotoxin receptor 1, CIRL-1, Lectomedin-2, Lectomedin 2, LEC2
Target
FUNCTION: Calcium-independent receptor of high affinity for alpha-latrotoxin, an excitatory neurotoxin present in black widow spider venom which triggers massive exocytosis from neurons and neuroendocrine cells. Receptor propably implicated in the regulation of exocytosis.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Brain specific distribution but low levels are also detected in most tissues.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
