Target

Function: Direct ligand for the ERBB4 tyrosine kinase receptor. Binding results in ligand-stimulated tyrosine phosphorylation and activation of the receptor. Does not bind to the EGF receptor, ERBB2 or ERBB3 receptors.
Subcellular location: Pro-neuregulin-3, membrane-bound isoform: Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Note: Does not seem to be active.
Neuregulin-3: Secreted
Tissue specificity: Expressed in sympathetic, motor, and sensory neurons.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
