Target

FUNCTION: Thought to be involved during neural development in axonal navigation at the ventral midline of the neural tube. In spinal chord development plays a role in guiding commissural axons probably by preventing premature sensitivity to Slit proteins thus inhibiting Slit signaling through ROBO1. Required for hindbrain axon midline crossing
Subcellular location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein
Tissue specificity: Detected in embryonal spinal chord and hindbrain.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
