Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from internal region of human BPIL1 (RYSR) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein has been used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Bactericidal permeability increasing protein like 1, Long palate, lung and nasal epithelium carcinoma-associated protein 2, RYSR, LPLUNC2
Target
Subcellular location: Secreted.
Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in tonsils, especially in hypertrophic tonsils. Detected at very low levels in fetal liver.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
