Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal region of human Calreticulin (Calregulin) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
CALR, CRP55, Calregulin, HACBP, ERp60, grp60, CRTC
Target
FUNCTION: Molecular calcium binding chaperone promoting folding, oligomeric assembly and quality control in the ER via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. This lectin interacts transiently with almost all of the monoglucosylated glycoproteins that are synthesized in the ER. Interacts with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 and mediates its nuclear export.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Cytoplasm ⺠cytosol. Secreted ⺠extracellular space ⺠extracellular matrix. Cell surface. Note: Also found in cell surface (T cells), cytosol and extracellular matrix. Associated with the lytic granules in the cytolytic T-lymphocytes.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
