Target

FUNCTION: May be involved in neuroendocrine secretion or in membrane trafficking in neuroendocrine cells.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed predominantly in central and peripheral nervous system of newborn and adult rats. Low levels have been also detected in heart, adrenal gland and spleen. Expression of isoform RTN1-B is restricted to particular neuronal types.

Storage

Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
