Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region 105-155 of human Complexin 3 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide shares 90% identity with mouse sequence.
Accession
Also known
CPLX3, Complexin III
Target
FUNCTION: Positively regulates a late step in synaptic vesicle exocytosis.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm ⺠cytosol. Note: Enriched at synaptic-releasing sites in mature neurons.
Tissue specificity: Present in many brain regions, including hippocampus and cerebellum. In the retina, present both at conventional amacrine cell synapses and at photoreceptor ribbon synapses (at protein level).
Subcellular location: Membrane; Lipid-anchor. Cell junction ⺠synapse. Note: Enriched at the synaptic terminal.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
