Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from c-terminal region of mouse Syntaxin-8 (STX8) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Syntaxin-8, Syntaxin 8, STX8
Target
FUNCTION: Vesicle trafficking protein that functions in the early secretory pathway, possibly by mediating retrograde transport from cis-Golgi membranes to the ER.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Single-pass type IV membrane protein. Note: Preferentially associated with the early endosome. To lesser extends, also present in late endosome, the plasma membrane and coated pits.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Widely expressed in all tissues examined.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
