Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from human Cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide (LL-37) conjugated to blue carrier protein has been used as the antigen.
The location of the epitope is highlighted in
green.
Accession
Also known
LL37, LL-37
Target
Cathelicidin antimicrobial protein is an antimicrobial protein found in specific granules of polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
FUNCTION: Binds to bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS), has antibacterial activity.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Secreted.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in bone marrow and testis and neutrophils.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
