Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the cytoplasmic domain of human KCNE1L (Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E member 1-like) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
KCE1L, Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E member 1-like protein, AMME syndrome candidate gene 2 protein, AMMECR2 protein
Target
Defects in KCNE1L may be a cause of AMME complex; also known as Alport syndrome, mental retardation, midface hypoplasia and elliptocytosis, and of additional mild abnormalities of the heart. The AMME complex is a contiguous gene deletion syndrome.
Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, brain, spinal cord and placenta.
Subcellular location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
