Function: May play a role in neuronal cell development.
Subcellular location: cytoplasm
Tissue specificity: Over-expressed in brain. Also detected in lung, stomach, and in a lower extent in testis and thymus. At embryonic days 12 and 15, it is strongly expressed in the ventricular and intermediate zones of the brain and of the spinal cord. At postnatal day 10, it is detected in the dentate gyrus, the hippocampus, the cerebellum and the olfactory bulb.

Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
