Immunogen
A synthetic peptide to the c-terminal of mouse LATS1 (WARTS) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Accession
Also known
Serine/threonine-protein kinase LATS1, Large tumor suppressor homolog 1, WARTS protein kinase
Target
FUNCTION: Tumor suppressor which plays a critical role in maintenance of ploidy through its actions in both mitotic progression and the G1 tetraploidy checkpoint. Involved in the control of p53 expression. Affects cytokinesis by regulating actin polymerization through negative modulation of LIMK1. May also play a role in endocrine function.
Subcellular location: Centrosome, Spindle. Note: Localizes to the centrosomes throughout interphase but migrates to the mitotic apparatus, including spindle pole bodies, mitotic spindle, and midbody, during mitosis.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
