Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal region of human NMDAR2B (GRIN2B) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in mouse and rat.
Accession
Also known
GRIN2B, N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor subunit 3, Glutamate [NMDA] receptor subunit epsilon-2, N-methyl D-aspartate receptor subtype 2B, NMDE1, NR2B, NR3
Target
FUNCTION: NMDA receptor subtype of glutamate-gated ion channels with high calcium permeability and voltage-dependent sensitivity to magnesium. Mediated by glycine.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell junction ⺠synapse ⺠postsynaptic cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
