Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from Bungarus fasciatus Cathelicidin antimicrobial peptide (CAP-18, hCAP-18, antibacterial protein LL-37, CAMP, CRAMP) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein has been used as the immunogen.
The location of the epitope is highlighted in
green.
Accession
Also known
CAMP, CAP18, FALL39, FALL-39, 18 kDa cationic antimicrobial protein, CAP-18, Cathelicidin-BF, LL37, CRAMP, HSD26
Target
Cathelicidin antimicrobial protein is an antimicrobial protein found in specific granules of polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
FUNCTION: Binds to bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS), has antibacterial activity.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Secreted.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
