Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of human beta, gamma, kappa Actin (ACTB, ACTG, ACTK) conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, zebra fish and xenopus.

Also known
ACTB, ACTG, ACTK
Target
FUNCTION: Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells.
SUBUNIT: Polymerization of globular actin (G-actin) leads to a structural filament (F-actin) in the form of a two-stranded helix. Each actin can bind to 4 others.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
