Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal region of mouse CACNB1 (CAB1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is shares 98% identity with rat and human sequences.
Accession
Also known
Voltage-dependent L-type calcium channel subunit beta-1, Calcium channel voltage dependent subunit beta 1, Cacnb1, Cacnlb1, CAB1
Target
Function: The beta subunit of voltage-dependent calcium channels contributes to the function of the calcium channel by increasing peak calcium current, shifting the voltage dependencies of activation and inactivation, modulating G protein inhibition and controlling the alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting
Subcellular location: Cell membrane ⺠sarcolemma; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
