Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal region of human SORCS3 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen shares 95% identity with mouse sequence.
Accession
Also known
SORCS 3, SORCS, Sortilin related VPS10 domain containing receptor 3, VPS10 domain containing receptor SorCS3, VPS10 domain receptor protein SORCS 3
Target
This gene encodes one family member of vacuolar protein sorting 10 (VPS10) domain-containing receptor proteins. The VPS10 domain name comes from the yeast carboxypeptidase Y sorting receptor Vps10 protein. These genes are strongly expressed in the central nervous system. Two of the five family members (sortilin and sortilin-related receptor) are synthesized as preproproteins.
Subcellular location: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in brain.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
