Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from aa region of 500-580 of human KCNT2 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen is homologous in rat and mouse.
Accession
Also known
Potassium channel subfamily T member 2, SLICK, Sequence like an intermediate conductance potassium channel subunit, Sodium and chloride-activated ATP-sensitive potassium channel Slo2.1
Target
FUCNTION: Outward rectifying potassium channel. Produces rapidly activating outward rectifier K(+) currents. Activated by high intracellular sodium and chloride levels. Channel activity is inhibited by ATP and by inhalation anesthetics, such as isoflurane
. Inhibited upon stimulation of G-protein coupled receptors, such as CHRM1 and GRIA1.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
