Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the internal region of human GBB1 (Transducin beta chain 1, GNB1, Guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit beta-1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, zebra fish and xenopus.
Accession
Also known
Transducin beta chain 1, GNB1, Guanine nucleotide binding protein subunit beta-1
Target
FUNCTION: Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as a modulator or transducer in various transmembrane signaling systems. The beta and gamma chains are required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for G protein-effector interaction.
SUBUNIT: G proteins are composed of 3 units, alpha, beta and gamma. Interacts with ARHGEF18.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
