Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from drosophila TRPG conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen.
The location of the epitope is highlighted in
green.

Accession
Also known
TRPG, Transient receptor potential-gamma protein, TRPgamma
Target
FUNCTION: A light-sensitive calcium channel that is required for inositide-mediated Ca(2+) entry in the retina during phospholipase C (PLC)-mediated phototransduction. Forms a regulated cation channel when heteromultimerized with trpl.
SUBUNIT: Interacts preferentially with trpl and interacts to a lower extent with trp.
SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed predominantly in the rhabdomeres of photoreceptor cells.
Storage
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date
12 months after reconstitution
Shipping
This item will be shipped to you at ambient temperature in a lyophilised form.
